If you are a new customer, to get you started on your new hire we will need to set you up as a customer on the system. These forms will be sent to you when you submit your Hire Request.
The spotlight mount allows the 120d II to produce 10 times its original output and the high-resolution lenses produce an even beam of light, with minimal light falloff on the edges. On top of this it also maintains a shift in color temperature of less than 200 degrees Kelvin.
The Spotlight Mount’s new lens technology minimizes chromatic aberrations around the edge of the illumination circle. The Spotlight Mount significantly decreases its edge color fringing to 1mm, significantly outperforming similar ellipsoidal fixtures.
The Spotlight Mount offers simple user-interchangeability between Aputure’s 19°, 26°, and 36° lenses. Combined with the internal shutters, filmmakers will be able to gain more control of the shape of their light.
Take control with even further light manipulation using the included B-size Gobos, Gobo Holder, and gel frame. Easily project any shape or colour you can think of.
The optional 18-bladed iris also allows filmmakers to further hone in the shape and size of the Spotlight Mount’s light output.
The Spotlight Mount utilizes the Bowens mount for use with the 120d Mark II and 300d lights.
The Aputure Spotlight features a dual Junior/Baby mounting pin so it can be attached to anything from a C-Stand to a Combo Stand or underslung from a lighting grid, ensuring that rigging is easy and convenient.
With an aluminum alloy die-cast metal body, the Spotlight Mount maintains Aputure’s standards for durability while utilizing a more lightweight design than typical tungsten ellipsoidal lights.
