Including an excellent radio link range and exclusive, swappable radio modules for different territories and shooting challenges, the Hi-5 is weatherproof with a durable build.
The Hi-5 unit features superior signal quality and longer range, enabling it to cut through interference.
The advanced wireless multi-axis camera and lens control via a large knob, instant reconnection, a high-contrast touchscreen LCD, powerful signal, and a modular, highly customizable design are just a few of the attractive features of ARRI’s Hi-5 unit.
The kit comes with the Hi-5 body, a Bluetooth dongle, and a Smart focus ring.
Ideal for a vast range of applications with features such as hot-swapping battery support, optional radio modules for different regions, user-defined function buttons, pre-marked Smart focus rings, an integrated NATO rail, and a waterproof design to use in any weather and environment.
The Hi-5 can be configured and updated using the ECS Sync app for iOS using the included Bluetooth dongle. The dongle can also be used to update LBUS devices and change the settings of the Hi-5. Connect wirelessly using an optional radio module with the RIA-1 radio interface adapter, which features 14 channels, and is backward compatible with white-coded radio EMIP modules.
Using the 4-pin LBUS ports, you can hardwire the unit to your ARRI camera to control your lens functions, and with the option to purchase licenses to control cameras such as RED, Panavision, and Sony the Hi-5 is a highly versatile follow focus unit, making it convenient for cinematographers using a broad range of camera bodies.
Compatible with the cforce mini RF with the separately available RF-EMIP radio module, the Hi-5 also includes adjustable focus knob operation, Focusbug Cine RT support, and compatibility with the one included and various optional pre-marked Smart focus rings with electronic detection.
The Hi-5 is powered using separately available LBP-3500 Li-Ion batteries.
