Canon’s CN-E45-135mm T2.4 L, backed by Canon’s optical technology the “FLEX ZOOM LENS", is designed to support a wide range of cameras, enabling flexible and efficient video production.
Full Frame Support
Compatibility with Full-Frame, Large-Format cameras enables impressive images using bokeh with shallow depth of field.
T2.4 Large Aperture Ratio
The brightness of the T2.4 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range enables impressive shooting with shallow depth of field. Frequent lighting adjustment time is also reduced, providing shorter shooting times and contributing to improved workflows. With two focal length ranges of 20-50mm (wide angle) and 45-135mm (telephoto), these two lenses do the work of six fixed focal length lenses. This reduces lens change frequency and make shoots more efficient.
Outstanding Optical Performance for 8K
Canon’s optical technologies are combined to enable optical performance for 8K cameras over the entire zoom range paired with a warm colour balance enables both superior image quality and cinematic rendering. The inner focusing system reduces focus breathing, which is the shifting of angle of view of a lens when changing the focus.
Communication with Camera Functions
EOS-Lens communication enabling recording and displaying of lens information via the EF mount. These lenses also enable magnification, chromatic aberration correction, peripheral light correction, and dual-pixel focus guidance with compatible cameras. Support is also provided for Cooke /i Technology*, enabling external output for lens metadata.
Operability and Usability
The gear position, front diameter, and rotation angle have been standardised throughout the lens series, eliminating the need to change accessory gear position when changing lenses. The pitch of the three iris, zoom, and focus gears has been standardised at 0.8mm.
Mount Replacement Service
The lens mount can be changed to either EF mount or PL mount. Note: A mount replacement kit (sold separately) is required. Mount replacement service is provided by the Canon Australia Service Centre.
