Elevate your mirrorless camera photography with the exceptional optical capabilities of the Cooke SP3 5 lens kit.
Crafted in the tradition of the renowned Speed Panchro lenses, these lenses are meticulously engineered for full-frame mirrorless cameras, ensuring top-notch performance. Despite their rugged build, these lenses remain lightweight and compact, boasting synchronized focus and iris mechanics across the series for seamless transitions between lenses when using matte boxes and FIZ systems. The SP3 primes, akin to the esteemed Cooke Look cherished in Hollywood, deliver remarkable clarity and resolution with a classic vignette towards the edges, while proprietary Cooke optical coatings guarantee control over flare and consistent color rendition. Images captured with these lenses exhibit enhanced depth and contrast, capturing facial features with natural skin tones and character.
Featuring a consistent T2.4 aperture throughout the series, these lenses offer fast and precise adjustments with a 9-blade aperture for smooth transitions. Additionally, the interchangeable mount, starting with the Sony E-mount, allows users to switch mounts easily, with Canon RF and Leica L and M mounts available options. The RF-mount will be accessible shortly after the launch, with a complimentary mount available upon redemption. The Leica M-mount is set for release in early 2024.
With non-linear focus scales for precise focusing near the minimum focal distance and industry-standard 0.8-MOD focus and iris gears, these lenses are compatible with third-party FIZ systems. Furthermore, marked focus scales in both feet and meters facilitate accurate focusing.
The lenses also feature a standardized 64mm front diameter and M58 filter size across the series (except for the 100mm), simplifying lens changes when using matte boxes and adapters. This design allows for filtering without the added bulk of a matte box, making them ideal for drone or gimbal setups.
