The rental kit contains:

  • Manfrotto 501HDV Tripod Head
  • Quick Release Camera plate
  • 1/4 inch screw

The Manfrotto 501HDV includes a powerful feature of a fixed counterbalance spring (set for a typical weight of camera + accessories of 2.5kg.) that helps ensure both smoother tilt movements and greater equipment safety even when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The easy-to-reach on/off switch allows the counterbalance system to be disengaged or re-engaged for different filming setups. It does has a total payload of up to 6kg camera set up however, making it a very versatile head.

The perfecly lightweight and compact 501HDV has separate pan and tilt locks, gradual tilt friction adjustment system, flat base, quick release sliding camera plate and repositionable pan bar. Dual rosettes permit left- or two-handed pan arm configurations, and the rear-mounted spirit level facilitates rapid setup and precision framing.
