Combining exceptional functionality with the ability to inspire and innovate, the TS-E 45mm f/2.8 allows you to capture the world from a different angle.
As a tilt shift lens, it tilts, shifts and rotates, letting you capture more in each frame, while creating effects a standard lens may not manage or would struggle with.
The tilt feature allows you to tilt the lens 6.5° in either direction, which can deliver many stunning creative effects, some of which come in especially handy with landscape photography. Shifting 12mm in either direction, the shift feature makes this a great architecture lens, allowing the lines of tall buildings to appear parallel – instead of converging – and preventing the camera from appearing in reflective surfaces.
If you are interested in product photography, this lens could be for you, or if you prefer portrait photography, you can use the lens to define your subject while creating a beautiful background blur.
