If you are a new customer, to get you started on your new hire we will need to set you up as a customer on the system. These forms will be sent to you when you submit your Hire Request.
The CRANE 3S is constructed with brand new SUPER motors which allow for Max. 6.5kg payload for a wide range of camera setups including Sony FX9, Canon 1DX, Red, Canon C300, Sony FS7.
Compatible cameras include Canon EOS 1DX, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras, Canon Cinema EOS, Sony FS & FX series, and RED Digital Cinema Cameras.
Extendable Arm. Greater Flexibility
Compatibility and flexibility are key to the Crane 3S Stabilizer. For larger cinema camera combos, users can attach an extension module onto roll axis while for smaller DSLR combos, the extension module can be detached.
Modular Design. Versatile Shooting
The CRANE 3S handle is detachable with two options provided: TransMount EasySling Handle and TransMount SmartSling Handle. You can either mount the EasySling handle to extend the grip for more comfort, upright & underslung operation or choose to mount SmartSling handle featuring an intuitive control panel and OLED screen, for direct camera & gimbal parameter adjustment.
Cross-Compatibility.
The CRANE 3S offers a versatile solution for challenging shooting tasks, thanks to its cross-compatibility. The handle mods are easily separated, and both provide multiple thread holes of different sizes to mount accessories.
Zero Swinging. Hero Security
The reinvented locking system can lock the three axes without noticeable swinging. The modular design is integrated with double locks to ensure the camera is 100% safe on the gimbal during traveling or storage.
Continuous Uptime Supported by PowerPlus
Besides battery insertion, the CRANE 3S offers a DC-IN port which supports up to 25.2V input for direct charging. The TransMount PowerPlus Battery Pack can house 6*18650 batteries, providing more strength to your gimbal to adapt to constant intense motions, and serving as a compact yet fast-charging power bank for your devices.

Improved Zoom & Focus System
To meet the needs of cinematography, larger lens supports have been added into the zoom & focus system. The focus wheel is equipped with a white board for marking a focus range.
Triple Control, Film at Your Will
In ZHIYUN gimbals and the TransMount Image Transmission System, there are three control options available for filmmakers work in film crew or work solo: control from gimbal, from smartphone or from motion sensor controller.
ViaTouch 2.0: Stay Focused All the Way
ViaTouch 2.0 bridges the communication gap between your stabilizer, camera and monitoring devices via a dedicated phone app, allowing you to intuitively adjust various camera and gimbal parameters with perfect synergy. (*ZY Play APP and TransMount Image Transmission Transmitter are required to utilize the feature.)
Timelapse Master
Timelapse feature of the gimbal is enhanced with TransMount Image Transmission System. Now, not only can you remotely monitor the shots but also you will be able to continue shooting after exiting the app.
