Designed to achieve the 70-200mm zoom range in 146mm at it's shortest length, the RF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM achieves the quality of the familiar EF 70 - 200mm lens while being 27% shorter and 28% lighter than it's EF equivalent.
The wide diameter and short back focus of Canon’s RF mount allows the RF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM to achieve a constant aperture value of f/2.8.
With two high-performance Nano USM motors you’ll never miss a moment. The lens locks onto a subject, to ensure sharp, in-focus photos.
The 5 stop Image Stabiliser with Dual Sensing IS for stills and Combination IS for movies provide smooth shooting for video and reduces shake in photos. The IS mode switch on the lens also enables you to select the best mode for your shooting needs: IS mode 1 for still subjects, IS mode 2 for panning and IS mode 3 for irregular movement.
The lens control ring gives you the option to customise aperture, shutter speed, ISO or exposure compensation, providing you with the freedom to quickly adapt to new shooting conditions in high-pressure situations.
