Steve Baccon: Looking back on EOS

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Canon EOS System, we chat to Australia's top image-makers about their favourite gear and the unforgettable experiences behind them.
One of Australia’s most successful lifestyle photographers, Steve Baccon got his start in the industry with a cadetship at Fairfax Community Newspaper when he was 19, later working freelance for Fairfax Magazines at the Sydney Morning Herald and Sun Herald.
He has since photographed personalities including Geoffrey Rush, Dave Grohl, Matt Damon and Cindy Crawford, and his regular advertising clients include Billabong and Oakley. Steve is now working on a new book called The Shapers Project - a behind the scenes look at the unique characters of surfboard shaping.
From finding his style and passion during his cadetship, to submerging a Canon EOS-1Ds in the ocean, prominent lifestyle photographer Steve Baccon reflects on his evolving career.
