The annual SUNSTUDIOS Emerging Photographer Award exhibition celebrates Australia’s next generation of photographic talent, launching at the Atrium Gallery in Sydney on September 19.

Twelve finalists across four photographic categories will share in $25K in prizes with three overall winners announced at the opening night.

One of the core events in the SUNSTUDIOS calendar, SEPA connects early career photographers to industry decision-makers and provides a platform for new talent.

Sydney Exhibition: 19 September, 6pm – 9pm. Continues until 20 October. 

Melbourne Opening: 7 November, 6pm – 9pm. Continues until 19 November.

  • Runner-Up: Fine art print services by SUN Print Sydney or Melbourne to the value of $2,500* and $2000 "SUN dollars" - to be redeemed on studio hire and  equipment hire.
  • Highly Commended: 3-month Treehouse Co-working Resident Desk membership.
  • All Category Finalists: $700 "SUN dollars" - to be used on studio hire and and equipment hire.
