The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" Water White Natural IRND Filter slows your exposure time or increases your aperture, giving you the ability to control depth of field and express movement effortlessly. The function of neutral density filters makes them ideal for pairing with other filters, as they do not affect the coloration of the image.
Optimized for use with digital sensors this neutral filter attains nearly flat attenuation of visible and infrared light. Compared with traditional film, imaging sensors' have a greater susceptibility to infrared light, which results in colour casts occurring when photographing darker subjects that require increased exposure times.
This Tiffen 4 x 5.65" Water White Natural IRND Filter is constructed from Water White glass for increased clarity as well as colour fidelity. It is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and measures 4mm thick.
